Thyme Plus+ is one of the best natural cleaning products because it has a much more unique, and desirable smell compared to other Thymol based cleaners.
The reason Thymol cleaners in general are so effective is that they use a molecule called Thymol, which is one of the main ingredients in Thyme, the herb we know and love.

Back to the smell. Other Thymol cleaners use Thymol Isolate, which is a purified molecule, a crystalline substance. The purity is great, but Thymol Isolate has a downside. If it is used as the sole ingredient in the cleaning formulation, it smells quite off-putting compared to the raw herb in Thyme Plus+, which is unmistakably natural smelling. The reason for this is that many of the other phytoconstituents that make up Thyme the herb are complex and numerous and they contribute to the “full spectrum” aroma profile that makes Thyme a patent sensory experience. We cut zero corners for confidence on this and it is one of the main reasons you will love these products, and they will be a mainstay in your home.
Each batch of Thyme essential oil contains only about 1/5th of Thymol (the active ingredient again) by weight. We use all-natural steam distilled Thyme essential oil derived from an organic 30-year family farm down in southern Baja as our base ingredient
We then take enough Thymol to bring the concentration of the full spectrum spray up to standardized levels so each batch is consistent. Where other cleaners using synthetics have to add fragrances and perfumes to overcome the scent, we just lean on the natural profile of the source plant and don’t add any toxic ingredients.
The result is an effective product that with a taste, you will never need to replace. Many people have not ever had the opportunity to have a “go-to” cleaning product that doesn’t smell “Chemically” like a gym or bathroom.
